What does Biblical counsel seek to do?

Biblical counsel seeks to help us look at our lives through the lens of Scripture. The things we think, feel, say and do are a reflection of our relationship to our heavenly Father. Our struggles may or may not be resolved but we learn to turn more quickly to the One who promises to be present with us and help us. We learn how to pray confidently about our problems, knowing that the Lord hears us and will give us mercy and grace in our time of need.

All our joys and sorrows come to us from the hand of God. We are safe because the One who planned every detail of our lives before the world began, is also the One who loves us steadfastly and has gone before us into whatever difficulties we face.  Biblical counsel helps us to experience a deeper relationship to Christ, knowing He is the sure and steadfast anchor of our souls.
